Gallery Nuance is an Art Gallery, Teaching and Event Facility showcasing local artists dedicated to providing a vibrant marketplace for original art and fine crafts. Located in the heart of downtown Knoxville, on the Historic 100 Block of Gay Street, the Art District offers wonderful galleries, restaurants and shopping with convenient parking on Gay Street, as well as our State Street, and Market Square Parking Garages. Gallery Nuance brings consistently changing collections of original paintings and photography from artists known local to our region, plus a large selection of beautiful pieces from jewelry, candles, woodworking, and pottery to name a few. Discover exceptional exhibits in traditional and contemporary works, realist, landscape, still-life and abstract styles. You may also find graceful glass and interesting ceramic works throughout the gallery. Additionally, the gallery not only houses works of more than 28 individual artists but Gallery Nuance acts as a classroom, and event center as well, hosting many diverse happenings, such as Intimate Weddings, Networking Events, Book Signings, holiday parties and the popular Gallery Concert Series. The exhibition space at Gallery Nuance is large and welcoming, providing visitors with the perfect atmosphere to stroll through and enjoy the artwork currently on display.
